雅思口語(yǔ) | 一個(gè)素材，打遍Part 2人物類話題

說(shuō)起part 2人物類話題，一般我們會(huì)朝著兩個(gè)方向想，分別是 ordinary person 和 famous person。那是不是figure out一個(gè)能把兩者結(jié)合起來(lái)的素材，就能把很多話題解決了，答案是yes。

咱們今天來(lái)看這么一個(gè)例題：“Describe a person who contributes to our society.

You should say:

"Who this person is

How you knew him/her

What types of work he/she does

Why you think he/she contributes to the society”

這個(gè)題的重點(diǎn)是a person contributes to society, 很多人會(huì)想到袁隆平、屠呦呦等。

沒(méi)錯(cuò)，他們的確對(duì)社會(huì)有很大貢獻(xiàn)，但離我們生活比較遠(yuǎn)。相對(duì)人物也會(huì)比較大眾，選擇的考生會(huì)比較多。

今天，給大家介紹一個(gè)比較小眾的人物：？？？

羅海岳，慈 善組織Ofund(Overseas Chinese Students Children’s fund)的創(chuàng)立人。

大家有機(jī)會(huì)可以去它的主頁(yè)瞅瞅。這個(gè)組織主要是提供偏遠(yuǎn)山區(qū)支教和援助服務(wù)。

比較特別的是，羅海岳是在LSE(top uni in the UK)創(chuàng)立Ofund的，而參與者都是英國(guó)海外留學(xué)生。所以對(duì)這個(gè)活動(dòng)感興趣的，并且有出國(guó)留學(xué)打算的同學(xué)們，有機(jī)會(huì)可以體驗(yàn)一下。

根據(jù)基本的背景，我們就可以回答 who this person is 和 what type of work he does 這兩個(gè)問(wèn)題了。

Sample answer:

This topic does remind me a person who does lots of good deeds. His name is Haiyue Luo, a social worker, and founder of Ofund, which is short for Overseas Chinese Students Children’s Fund. He established it in LSE, one of the top unis in the UK. Volunteers are those Chinese students who study in the UK.

然后是 how you knew him 問(wèn)題的回答。

其實(shí)，對(duì)于打算留學(xué)的大家來(lái)講，從留學(xué)圈里，了解到這個(gè)人，是個(gè)很自然而然的事兒。

所以可以簡(jiǎn)單的說(shuō)：He’s well-known in international students’ community. Some people I know have already had experiences to work in this organization.

當(dāng)然，最重要的是回答后面一個(gè)問(wèn)題：why you think he contributes to society

起先，我覺(jué)得失學(xué)、輟學(xué)這個(gè)現(xiàn)象在中國(guó)已經(jīng)很少見(jiàn)了，由于這兩年政府以及一些民間組織的幫扶。但從Ofund的網(wǎng)頁(yè)上、他們調(diào)查中了解，其實(shí)還是存在蠻多問(wèn)題的。

最主要的三個(gè)問(wèn)題是適齡兒童失學(xué)、學(xué)無(wú)所用、綜合素質(zhì)培養(yǎng)欠缺。

10年前，主要是物質(zhì)的缺乏，現(xiàn)在是動(dòng)機(jī)缺乏。所以，我們可以針對(duì)存在的問(wèn)題，來(lái)聊聊羅海岳和他的組織，所做的貢獻(xiàn)。

這個(gè)素材，做適當(dāng)?shù)母膭?dòng)，是可以用于大部分人物類話題的：

像是 Describe a person you follow on social media 或是 Describe a person who you met once and want to know more about 等等。

無(wú)論是名人還是普通人。尤其是普通人，可以想一個(gè)你能見(jiàn)到他的契機(jī)，像是長(zhǎng)輩介紹、朋友介紹等。
