雅思真題題目：

Some people prefer to buy technological devices as soon as they are available to the public. Others people prefer to wait until many people have used them. Which do you prefer?

(1) 及時買

好處：

及時享受科技帶來的好處。比如：蘋果的最新款手機具備 3-digital touch，人臉識別 facial recognition; face identity. 讓user 不用雙手就可以使用手機，很方便。

及時買的壞處：

1. 容易造成攀比. (炫耀show off;攀比：jealous; keep up with Joneses. 這個點很容易想到，但是很多同學(xué)都不太會寫 “攀比”;所以 不建議大家寫這個點 )

2. 剛買還容易被偷。剛出的新品，很容易引起關(guān)注，而被買不起的人偷。+ 舉例：我之前買的ipad 就被偷了…

(2) 以后買

好處

1. cheaper. 因為以上市場的產(chǎn)品都比較貴。過一段時間，當(dāng)貨品供應(yīng)充足了，就會便宜很多. (這個思路大家如果想不明白為什么，可以不用解釋。因為確實是一個公認(rèn)的事實。著重舉例)比如蘋果的iphone4 產(chǎn)品。一開始賣6000，半年后就4000的多了。

2. 更好用. 因為新出的科技產(chǎn)品一般都會有問題bugs，會造成使用中的很多問題。而過一段時間，當(dāng)公司從用戶使用中發(fā)現(xiàn)了這些問題，就會改進，產(chǎn)品就會更好用了。 + 舉例：iphone 4 的電池問題

所以，綜上所述，好寫的觀點應(yīng)該是：選擇之后買。

With the ever accelerating science and technology, people are blessed with a variety of choices in terms of digital products. Some individuals prefer to purchase an electronic device the minute it is launched, while others would rather wait until it becomes cheaper to get it. As for me, I would definitely choose to wait instead of buying the product in a hurry.

To begin with, when a product is initially introduced into the market, its price is inevitably high. Buying the product at this crucial moment is not rational, as far as I am concerned. Though one might become the first few lucky people to be able to fiddle about and get to know its new features, the financial burden it could bring about isovershadowed by its glamorous outlook, not to mention that people who buys it has to suffer from a frugal life style thereafter. Take my friend Jack for example, when iphone 4s was put into the market in 2012, he didn’t hesitate and bought one right after its launch, despite that he had already has an iphone, after he spent almost his entire pocket money on the brand new phone, he had to eat instant noodles for quite a few months. Obtaining new products deprived his leisure activity of going to meet with friends and eat out, now all he does all day is to sit in his apartment, playing with his iphone 4 s, while chewing on some bland instant noodles.

Secondly, when a new digital device is first introduced to the world, it would be too risky to buy it right away, for chances are that the new products could be stolen. When people see this wonderful new device, they might create a feeling of jealousy, and therefore, the expensive device could end up disappearing. Though the public security nowadays is much safer than it was in the past, however, one cannot be careful in protecting his valuable personal belongings. My friend Daisy has an iphone, yet she has to hold on to her phone tightly right after she steps onto a subway carriage. She dares not leave it in his purse, for fear it could be stolen by pick-pockets.

Last but not least, if I am patient enough and wait for a few months or so, the price of the new products would be greatly lowered, and I could use the money saved to buy some magazines that I love. In addition, there would be a lot of reviews available since more people would have used these products ahead of me, hence, it would be beneficial for me to have some good suggestions from friends or relatives, then I would have a better understanding of the gadgets and enjoy it more after I get it.

To sum up, if given the opportunity, I would not get a digital product as soon as it is available but would rather wait till it’s more popular.
